This past weekend I decided that I wanted to get more serious about blogging. My main roadblock is coming up with content. Two weekends ago I was at a networking mixer with other budding entrepreneurs, where I got some good advice about blogging and developing content. The next day I brainstormed like crazy but wasn’t able to focus on it until this past weekend when I had some downtime in between client work. Usually when I get an idea I grab a post-it note or a scrap piece of paper and jot it down. Then I end up with tons of papers on my desk. So it was fitting that I came across this great article on probloigger.net written by Julie Bonner. It’s about how she got her blogging habits organized by using a binder. The binder is divided into sections: SEO, Design, Monetization, and Traffic. She uses the same binder for all the blogs your writes for. It’s funny I thought about doing something similar awhile back when I decided to start writing for other blogs. I am going to use a hacked moleskine journal so I can travel with it easily. This article has got me motivated and I hope it will do the same for you. Read the full article here: Keep Yourself Organized with a Blog Binder.
