My takeaway: I am always learning from different people and it may take more than once for the lesson to really hit me. I totally understand the feeling of people not understand what I do. Yes, I am in front of a computer all day, just like I was doing at my previous job. Only difference I don’t have the guarantee flow of work. Just cause I now work from home doesn’t mean I don’t have a real job. According to the Freelance Union 30% of the US work force freelances and I am part of that percentage. I will definitely be following the three tips 1) forcing more on why I do what I do 2) staying connected with like-minded people 3) watch what I eat. We all can benefit from a positive mindset because starting your own business it’s a long hard road.
