Did you know that March 10th is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day?
The lovely ladies Karyn of The Fabulous Giver and Luvvie of Awesomley Luvvie has teamed up to kick off The Red Pump Project in observance of this day. Their goal is to have at least 100 lady bloggers participating in their inaugural “Rock the Red Pump Campaign” by featuring a widget on their sidebar. The Red Pump represents the strength and courage of women who fight HIV/AIDS directly or those who support the fight through awareness and fundraising. I love this idea. My favorite color is red, yet I do no own a pair of red pumps. I think I need to go get me some before Tuesday. Thank you ladies for putting this together.
If you’re interested in participating in The Red Pump Project or would like more information on how you can get involved, please send your emails to firstname.lastname@example.org.
