Lately, I have been working on doing more videos. I am still not comfortable in front of the camera so I am mastering ways to still provide video content on this blog. Although, I have to say that doing Skype video chats have been helping with my confidence on camera. Before that I started practicing with Animoto creating 30-second promo videos for my design business ArtDeal Designs. You can add text and photos to make a great slideshow video for just about anything. It’s great for personal and business use.
Recently, I started using a site called Screenr to do video tutorials for my clients. Screenr allows you to create 5-minute videos for free. There’s also a paid subscription version. I’m starting to like it so much that I been thinking about investing in going pro.
Screenr Business will allow you to record up to 15 minutes and also have private screencast, which is great when I am doing tutorials for my clients. Currently I do the video (multiple ones if I go past 5 minutes), upload to my Youtube channel and make it private. However, I have to then go back to Screenr and delete the video because your free screencasts are public. I could download the files and edited them together but I don’t have the time and patience at the moment. I still need to do some more research to see which verizon will help me take my business to the next level.
