Mobile ready or responsiveness is how your site reacts when someone access it on a mobile device (cell phone or tablet). There is a piece of code (within the theme you’re using) on your site that will recognize this and automatically change the layout to fit that device. In the last few years web designers and web developers have been making the transition to make the web pretty beyond the computer screen. Why the change?
Research shows that more people are accessing the Internet via mobile devices. We are on social media apps daily (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and even shopping online, using a store’s app or their mobile site. Among the top reasons customers abandon their shopping carts is (1) non user-friendly sites and (2) non mobile friendly sites.
You should also know that Google is now giving sites that are mobile friendly more weight, which allows them to show up earlier in search results. This is why is very important for your site to be mobile friendly moving forward.

If your site is not mobile friendly you will be missing out on a lot from page views, new clients or customers, and lost income. Make it your mission that before 2017 rolls around, your website will not be the thing that is holding you back.
